As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic plan for the Finance & Accounting (F&A) Professional search practice within Versique that aligns with the Finance Solutions' and broader organization's growth goals. This role requires a deep understanding of the Finance landscape, strong business acumen, and the ability to cultivate relationships at the highest levels with both clients and candidates. In addition to your own personal production and your team's production, you will be responsible for enhancing Versique's presence in the marketplace through various activities and as a leader within the F&A Solutions practice.
In this role, you will:
Develop and execute a growth strategy for the Finance Professional search practice in partnership with the Vice President
Proactively engage in the marketplace to cultivate long-lasting relationships that generate opportunities for the entire F&A Solutions team while serving as the primary representative of the Finance Professional practice
Represent Versique as a thought leader in the finance community through networking, attending industry events, speaking engagements, and creating content
Develop organizational structure and build a team of finance recruiters
Lead, mentor, and develop the team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Establish and monitor key performance metrics for the team, analyzing recruitment metrics to drive improvement
Stay informed about Finance trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
Work collaboratively with other practice areas across Versique to leverage synergies and enhance service offerings, leading to the continued success of the firm and fulfillment of core values
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships to understand their current and upcoming Finance hiring needs.
Design and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top Finance talent, leveraging various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction for the entire team.
To excel in this role, you have:
Bachelor's degree.
10+ years of finance experience and/or 3+ years of leadership experience within a professional services organization.
5+ years in a leadership role.
Deep knowledge of the Finance industry, trends, and talent market.
Strong leadership experience, with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams that drive business growth
Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to optimize recruitment processes.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
Location: St. Louis Park, MN
Schedule: Onsite/Hybrid- the office is open Monday through Friday. Employees may take advantage of the hybrid work schedule by working remotely Monday and Friday while working onsite Tuesday through Thursday.
Salary: Compensation for this role will consist of a base salary of $100k, bonus opportunities, and uncapped commissions. Total compensation in first year anticipated to be $250k+
