210 Day, Prorated Position/October Start Overview: Blue Hills Regional Technical School in Canton, Massachusetts, is a vibrant public institution serving over 900 high school students and postsecondary learners. Students graduate with both a high school diploma and a Certificate of Occupational Proficiency in one of 17 career and technical education programs, preparing them for college, careers, and beyond. The Interim Director of Admissions and Post-Secondary Education will serve as a dynamic leader responsible for student recruitment, enrollment management, and the continued growth of postsecondary and continuing education programs. . Compensation: Starting salary range is between $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 and is dependent on candidate's qualifications. Compensation package is comprised of many paid benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, paid holidays, sick time, personal days and retirement. Expected to work the school year, not including school vacation weeks. Responsibilities and Duties: Admissions Leadership • Update and implement admissions policies and procedures, including admissions weighting requirements. • Oversee the entire high school and postsecondary enrollment process from outreach through registration. • Ensure smooth operations and a fair, transparent admissions review process. Recruitment & Outreach • Plan and lead admissions events (Open Houses, Showcase, assemblies, acceptance reception, placement testing, etc.). • Develop and deliver presentations to small and large audiences. • Build strong relationships with sending schools, families, and community organizations. • Market programs to attract a diverse applicant pool and meet recruitment and retention goals. Postsecondary & Continuing Education • Oversee development, scheduling, and staffing of postsecondary and continuing education programs. • Ensure programs remain responsive to workforce and community needs. Data & Enrollment Management • Collect, analyze, and report admissions and enrollment data to track progress. • Use data to support enrollment planning, marketing strategies, and decision-making. Budget & Office Management • Supervise administrative assistant, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. • Oversee inventory, purchasing, and expenditures for the Admissions Office and continuing education. Public Relations & Communication • Serve as a key representative of Blue Hills to prospective students, families, and the public. • Clearly communicate admissions policies, procedures, and the value of Blue Hills' academic and career programs.
