Inside Sales Director The Inside Sales Director - Indiana position is a frontline management position responsible for the supervision of the daily functions of the Account Management team. Along with the oversight of the internal sales group, this position is responsible for the development, growth, and maintenance of existing customer accounts. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, new account assignment, order status tracking, creating and reviewing sales reports, inventory management, and continuous improvement projects. This position will report to the Branch General Manager and will office out of the Middlebury, IN location.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Supervision, hiring, training, and development of the Indiana Account Management team Working with the North Sales Director and Branch Management on developing regional sales goals and new markets Creating, analyzing, and distributing various sales reports Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics such as: Gross Margin Aged/Obsolete Inventory Historical vs. Current Sales Ensuring consistent operating procedures across customer accounts Handling and resolving customer complaints/concerns regarding products or services Continuous Improvement projects Required Skills Previous experience managing direct reports Excellent communication skills Strong organizational and analytical skills Exceptional customer service and interfacing skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, or relevant field In-depth understanding of the aluminum market (preferred)
