Our Global Manufacturing industry team is looking for an Industry Director to lead and drive priority strategic initiatives for the industry. This person will apply industry knowledge and broad business expertise to strategize, plan, organize, and direct key programs for Manufacturing industry at Slalom, managing cross-functional stakeholders across the organization. This role will partner closely with our Global Manufacturing Lead to establish and oversee our go-to-market approach for the industry – from sales to marketing, solutions, communities, and more. This is a role with one of Slalom’s global teams – we are open to hiring in many locations. We are open to candidates at the Senior Manager or Director level.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Initiatives & Leadership Alignment
Partner with the Industry Lead and leadership team to develop the industry vision and strategy, supporting 47+ markets across the company
Coordinate and manage executive steering committee of key industry leaders across Slalom to align goals and priority initiatives
Develop and shape go-to-market (GTM) activities in alignment with industry strategy, including account activation, marketing, solutions, thought leadership, partnerships, communities
Drive and guide research and point of view development on industry disrupting trends, capabilities, and solutions
Own the industry strategic initiatives and oversee execution, effectively influencing and collaborating across all of Slalom and with partners
Review and help drive industry involvement in strategic accounts, deals, and pursuits
Work with marketing to coordinate industry event presence and speaking engagements
Coordinate industry approach with our alliance partners
Team Enablement & Business Operations Management
Act as a voice of the Manufacturing Industry Lead to help direct, guide, and manage a high-performing team
Inform operating model and ways of working to drive collaboration amongst markets, global teams, and within industry team
Own and lead key meetings, communications, and general rhythm of business
Track operational reporting and industry financial metrics
Manage best-of industry materials and offerings
Coordinate with other Industry Directors to share and scale best practices
What You’ll Bring
5+ years experience in the manufacturing industry, 10+ years preferred
A track record of navigating ambiguity and driving to implement actions quickly
Blend of strategic and operational mindset with ability to see big picture and outline key outcomes
Understanding of our business, organizational structure, incentives and drivers
Positive attitude and approach to solving difficult problems
Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to create order out of chaos
Ability to understand our business (numbers & operations) and prioritize resources for maximum impact
Ability to build effective working relationships across the organization
Ability to influence without authority with a reputation for getting things done
Strong people management skills and ability to interact with peers, senior executives, and cross-functional stakeholders
Ability to anticipate downstream implications and mitigate challenges and risks

Compensation And Benefits
Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for Senior Manager is $110,000 - $185,000 and the base salary range for Director is $145,000 - $230,000. This position is eligible for variable pay through an annual bonus compensation plan. Actual compensation will depend upon skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time. Slalom offers benefits including time off, paid holidays, parental leave, 401(k) with match, health/dental/vision coverage, adoption and fertility assistance, short/long-term disability, and wellness reimbursements.
