Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead a dedicated nursing team in providing exceptional patient care at a long-term care and rehabilitation facility in Sistersville, WV. This leadership role requires a dynamic, compassionate, and strategic healthcare professional ready to oversee daily nursing operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

Compensation & Incentives:

Estimated Weekly Pay: ~$2,437 (based on 40 hours/week)

Quick Start Bonus: $500 (if you start within 1 week of offer acceptance)

Completion Bonus: $1,500 (after 8 weeks of service with excellent attendance: no more than 2 call outs and no no-call/no-shows)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and supervision to the nursing staff

Ensure delivery of consistent, high-quality, and compassionate care

Manage day-to-day nursing operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies

Coordinate staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

Maintain accurate documentation and timely incident reporting

Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and professional development

Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a nursing leadership role (Director of Nursing or similar)

Comprehensive understanding of nursing best practices, compliance standards, and state/federal regulations

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Proven ability to manage, mentor, and motivate clinical teams

Commitment to resident-focused, empathetic care delivery
