We are seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. This hands-on role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to play a key role in shaping employee experiences, workforce management, and organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the full life-cycle of employee entry and exit, ensuring that new hires feel welcomed and equipped to succeed while departing employees transition smoothly. Maintain clear communication, complete necessary paperwork, and provide guidance throughout the process.
Staffing & Recruitment: Work with staffing agencies and internal teams to identify talent needs, source qualified candidates, and fill positions efficiently. Focus on building a reliable workforce, including specialized roles such as third-shift or temporary positions.
Employee Relations: Act as a trusted HR resource for employees, addressing questions, concerns, and conflicts in a fair and professional manner. Foster a supportive work environment that promotes engagement, satisfaction, and collaboration.
HR Systems Management: Oversee the effective use of HR software and proprietary systems, ensuring accurate data entry and recordkeeping. Provide training and support to staff for consistent, proper system usage.
Compliance: Maintain adherence to company policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements. Monitor HR practices to ensure legal compliance and minimize organizational risk.
Workforce Strategy & Engagement: Develop programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and productivity. Analyze workforce trends to identify opportunities for improvement and support organizational goals.
Leadership Support: Collaborate with management to implement HR initiatives, programs, and policies. Provide guidance and insight to leadership on workforce planning, employee development, and organizational culture.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee information, performance metrics, and compliance documentation. Prepare reports to inform management decisions and support organizational transparency.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management.
Proficiency in HR administration and employee relations.
Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems).
Proven success in onboarding processes and workforce management.
Strong ability to collaborate with staffing agencies and external partners.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
Experience in the printing or publishing industry is a plus.
