Job Summary
Manage and direct all aspects of Human Resources which includes HR compliance, staffing, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compensation and training. Must exercise discretion and independent judgment while executing these duties and developing and managing relationships in the organization with a wide variety of employees.
Duties and Responsibilities Administer compensation, benefits and safety programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance and
equity within organization.
Investigate, review and administer Workers Comp program and follow-up.
Recruit, interview and select applicants with coordination of Department head.
Conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages and employee benefits.
Maintain all employment records and employee files.
Plan, organize and coordinate staff trainings as appropriate for state licensure.
Perform staffing duties of dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, employee terminations (including exit interviews) and administering disciplinary procedures.
Provide coaching and direction to management on employee related and performance issues.
Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies and helping resolve work-related problems.
Develop, implement and recommend for improvement, organization’s personnel policies and practices. Write new policies and update existing policies as needed.
Coordinate staff housing including contracts and walk-through’s
Prepare and monitor Administrative budget and staffing.
Standardize performance assessments.
Set standards for employee training and development to improve/enhance skills.
Develop and maintain strong internal controls over the flow of information.
Maintain compliance in key areas of FMLA, FLSA , ACA and other regulatory agencies.
Monitor insurance benefits renewal and implementation of new plans.
Administer 403(b) and 457(b) compensation plans and maintaining federal and state compliance .
Maintain established TROSA standards and procedures and support all therapeutic community program initiatives.
Demonstrate positive social behaviors to help promote effective interpersonal communication/behavioral skills for residents. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Commitment to confidentiality

Ability to assess priorities and address critical issues
Ability to facilitate presentations, meetings and training programs on controversial or complex topics. Credentials or Experience College education or equivalent work experience of 5+years in Human Resources
PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
Minimum 5 years professional/business experience
Office Management experience beneficial
Non-Profit experience a plus Special Requirements Flexible hours
