The section head leads and manages a Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) section and participates in the coordination and leadership activities of the division. Develops and maintains internal and external client, vendor, and peer relationships. Is a mentor and coach to HTM staff. Represents the section and participates in HTM task groups and institution committees and groups. Plans and manages Mayo resources (project, people, facilities, money and equipment) in an effective and efficient manner. Develops and fosters strategies and directions that support section and division goals and objectives. Provide leadership in the selection, installation and ongoing support of medical and IT equipment; may serve as secretary, assistant secretary, or member of HTM for institutional committees. The candidate selected for this position will be required to spend a significant amount of time onsite at Mayo Clinic's Phoenix, AZ campus. Will also travel to other Mayo Clinic locations as needed.
