HR Director New York City, NY Are you an established HR professional? Do you have leadership experience in Human Resources? We are currently in search of an Interim HR Director for a Community Services Nonprofit. The position is Hybrid in New York, NY, with occasional travel to Brooklyn, NY. This is a full-time, temporary position. ORGANIZATION TYPE: Community Services Nonprofit LOCATION: New York, NY (Midtown Manhattan) with occasional travel to Brooklyn (East New York neighborhood) POSITION TITLE: HR Director SCHEDULE: Full-time, 35 hours/week, Hybrid – 3 days onsite – 2 days remote, 9 to 5 or 8:30 to 4 - flexible DURATION: Temporary (3 months) HOURLY RATE: $35.00 - $40.00 Is This Your Dream Job? As Interim HR Director, you will play a key role in overseeing the HR department, taking on responsibilities such as implementing policies/procedures, responding to supervisor/employee concerns, managing payroll/time-and-attendance, operating HRIS systems, etc. For onsite days you will mainly work from the office in Midtown Manhattan, however, either once a week or once a month (depending on need), you will work from the Brooklyn office. This position will not be doing any recruitment or supervision of recruitment. Our Ideal Candidate: ·  Established HR professional with director-level experience (does not necessarily need to have held the title of director, as long as experience is there – 10+ years experience) · Proven leadership experience in HR responsibilities · HRIS system experience required · Must be able to “understand the need and act on it” – self-directed, proactive with HR policy and procedure, not waiting for direction · Nonprofit HR experience · Experience in social services, community services, or housing is a plus How You Will Spend Your Day:
Implementing policies and procedures
Responding to supervisor and employee concerns
Managing payroll and time-and-attendance
Executing day-to-day tasks of the HR department
Operating HRIS systems: Paylocity & Employee Navigator
Other ad-hoc duties as needed
