Salary: $416,000$520,000 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and manage the hospitalist team to ensure high quality care and operational efficiency. Develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices to enhance patient outcomes. Work collaboratively with hospital administration and medical leadership to establish and achieve program goals. Engage directly in patient care in a hospitalist capacity, modeling best practices in clinical procedures. Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure patient safety in all aspects of the hospitalist program. Uphold and enforce compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Minimum Position Qualifications: MD or DO degree with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Demonstrated leadership experience in a hospitalist setting. Proven ability to manage clinical teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for interacting with staff, patients, and administration. Commitment to staying informed on current medical procedures and practices in hospital medicine. Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a Program Director or in a similar leadership role within a hospitalist program. Experience in clinical protocol development and quality improvement initiatives. Expertise in patient care management and team leadership. Skills: Expert clinical skills with a deep understanding of hospital medicine. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Robust knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
