Executive Director Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President of Operations, you will oversee the daily operations of your assigned hospice location, coordinate patient admissions, oversee staff and volunteers, and ensure effective communication with leadership. Key Job Responsibilities Focus on quality care and service excellence. Implement continuous quality improvement principles. Ensure compliance with accreditation, licensing, and legal standards. Develop and enforce policies and procedures. Manage human resources effectively, including staff supervision and evaluation. Promote positive communication and staff development. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of services. Monitor quality of patient care and handle emergency calls. Participate in routine patient visits and on-call schedules if a Registered Nurse. Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and staff on care issues. Supervise and evaluate patient and family satisfaction surveys. Manage financial resources, budgets, and expenses effectively. About You Registered Nurse with at least an Associates Degree; BSN preferred; Masters degree in related fields preferred. Minimum one year of management/supervisory experience; hospice/home care experience preferred. Current nursing license, CPR certification, valid drivers license, and insurance.
