We are hiring a Hospice Clinical Director to join our care team with Athena Hospice of Rhode Island!
Salaried role with weekly pay. Mileage reimbursement provided. 8a-4:30p shift.

The Clinical Director is responsible for the overall direction of hospice clinical services and establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality.
Experience & Education:
Must possess an active and unencumbered RN license in Rhode Island.
Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Prior experience in hospice required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversees all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical staff.
Provides clinical oversight, mentoring, and guidance to interdisciplinary team members.
Assists with hiring, evaluation, and supervision of clinical personnel.
Develops and maintains clinical policies and procedures that comply with federal and state regulations.
Provides orientation and ongoing training to clinical staff; oversees in-service education.
Maintains quality improvement initiatives, monitors performance indicators, and ensures compliance with the performance improvement program.
Monitors and documents the patient’s condition, symptoms, and response to interventions.
Communicates effectively with families, caregivers, and providers regarding goals of care and clinical updates.
Participates in IDT meetings and care conferences.
