Our expansion into new markets has created a need for a high performing business development leader focused on government deposit and payments. Job Title Government Deposits Director Location: Washington DC - Remote Responsibilities: Oversee and expand the portfolio of sourced government deposit business, while also managing and guiding the portfolios of your team members. Develop and drive a nimble, innovative growth strategy to source government business. Partner with Marketing and Product teams to develop messaging and servicing offering platforms that will drive success. Develop and execute an industry plan (e.g., conferences, events, associations, ad placements, thought leadership pieces) to help expand brand awareness and generate new business. Be the voice of the client and the broader marketplace as part of the Juris Banking team. Participate in business strategy sessions and collaborate with teammates to brainstorm market disruption ideas. What You'll Need Bachelor’s degree in a related field 8+ years of experience in legal banking or related industries, managing full-service relationships (deposit, loan, and credit). Advanced knowledge of banking operations. Proven experience in government sector business development. Ability to navigate complex government relationships and work with decision-makers at all levels. Experience leading sales teams and developing sales strategies, including KPIs and performance management. Knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance standards. Strong communication skills for internal and external audiences. Compensation: Salary range generally $200,000 - $257,000, depending on location, plus potential bonuses and stock options.
