Job Description: Aristos Nursing and Rehab is seeking an experienced and dedicated Food Service Director to lead our dietary department. The FSD is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service operations, ensuring residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in accordance with regulatory standards and individual care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations of the dietary department

Develop and maintain menus that meet nutritional and dietary requirements

Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards in all food prep and service areas

Manage food inventory and ordering

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a Food Service Director in a healthcare or long-term care setting

Knowledge of dietary regulations (including CMS, state, and local guidelines)

Strong leadership and communication skills

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred
