Located near Huntington, NY A beautiful, skilled nursing facility located near Huntington, NY  is looking for a strong  Food Service Director. Responsibilities: Directs the purchasing, receiving, storing and preparing of food and related products Creating the menu, developing recipes, and overseeing kitchen staff, operations, inventory, DOH regulations compliance and orders Responsible for training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates Properly opens the Food Service on shift assigned Schedules department working hours, personnel, and work assignments to maintain quality service Interviews, hires, and trains associates and maintains excellent relationships with clients Develops, manages, and maintains food service policies and procedures Qualifications: Must have prior experience in long-term care as a Food Service Director Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and handling technique General knowledge of safety and sanitation rules and practices Must be able to develop, manage, and maintain food service policies Proven Leadership & Management skills Strong verbal & written communication skills Hudson View Network is a medical recruiting firm whose goal is to bridge  exceptional  talent to  superior  institutions.
