*The Role:*
We are seeking a Venue Director of Operations for FirstBank Amphitheater. FirstBank Amphitheater is a boutique amphitheater South of Nashville, TN located in a reclaimed rock quarry with seats for 7500 fans. Teaming up with Live Nation to book the best live performance and touring groups around the world we will be working hard to deliver fans an amazing concert experience.
This position is part of the core management team and requires a person that is self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
*Responsibilities:* * The Venue Operations Director for FirstBank Amphitheater is responsible for the oversite of all operations for the Amphitheater. This is a senior, full time salaried position. * Direct oversite of all operational functions, vendors, including but not limited to site operations, medical, police, parking, weather monitoring, and waste management. * Work with Ownership to determine best practices and advanced planning procedures for efficient, professional, and safe events. * Advise, maintain, and regularly update all venue policies and procedures such as the Emergency Operations Plan, Traffic Plans, Ingress and Egress, and Credentials. * Ensure a seamless, open working relationship between all departments and staff both internal and external so that organizational policies and procedures are communicated, trained, understood, and maintained. * Manage communications with all departments and vendors on concert calendars, schedules, and expected attendance to ensure proper planning and staffing can be set for each event. * Work with Live Nation Production to advance all venue needs from performing artists including hospitality, security, and the logistics of their presence in the venue. * Coordinate all operations staff schedules as well as call times and deployments for third party vendors including Security, Medical, Police, Parking, and Waste Management. * Set standards and plans for each event to ensure that all temporary venue assets such as signs, tents, tables, and chairs are in place and removed at an appropriate time on event days. * Supervise all aspects of operations from load-in through load out on event days * Ensure all departments are properly set and prepared on concert days so that shows run smoothly and on time * Forecast and manage all operational expenses for the venue. * Collect all operational invoices and submit to accounting to ensure an accurate and expedient settlement for each event. * Manage all operational equipment rentals both seasonally and for individual events. * Ensure cleaning, maintenance, repair, and inventory is scheduled and completed on all operations related equipment, buildings, and the venue grounds. * Work to develop a strong and loyal team environment that provides members a sense of belonging as well as one that upholds the tenants of professionalism, integrity, and servant leadership.
*Qualifications:* * Minimum 5 years in event operations experience in the live music industry * Working knowledge and any required certifications and training on operational equipment such as forklifts, light towers, man lifts, and UTVs. * Ability to forecast expenses, create and maintain budgets and staff schedules * Works well under pressure while managing a team through challenging situations and long days * Excellent judgement and decision making skills * Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail * Proficient with MS Office.
