Financial Services Tax Practice Director
A career in our Financial Services Tax practice, within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You'll also help organizations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals. Our team helps our Financial Services clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. You'll help our clients with their tax structuring while helping to address the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.

The Opportunity: As part of the Financial Services Tax team you are expected to lead the way as technology-enabled tax advisors who provide benefits through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. As a Director, you are expected to set the strategic direction, lead business development efforts, and oversee multiple projects while maintaining impactful executive-level client relations. You are expected to provide exceptional technical knowledge and specialization, coupled with the One Firm knowledge that brings everything PwC offers to solve our clients' needs.
Responsibilities:
- Set the strategic direction for the Financial Services Tax team
- Lead business development initiatives to drive growth
- Oversee multiple projects to achieve top-quality delivery
- Maintain executive-level client relationships

What You Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 6 years of experience
- CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

The salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $438,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
