Position Summary: As the Field Medical Director, you will report to the Vice President of Field Medical Team and play a crucial role in enhancing awareness about the unmet needs in IgA nephropathy (IgAN) and the therapeutic potential of atacicept. You will also engage in medical affairs activities for membranous nephropathy and lupus nephritis, fostering relationships with the external scientific and medical communities. Key Responsibilities: Engage with Key External Experts through in-person and virtual meetings, congresses, and advisory boards. Deliver proactive disease state education and facilitate discussions regarding product and clinical trial data. Provide scientific, clinical, and educational support to internal and external stakeholders. Develop and implement a territory plan, establishing relationships with external communities, including professional societies. Support cross-functional activities to ensure launch readiness and medical excellence. Contribute to the planning and execution of educational activities at key scientific congresses. Lead or participate in special projects as needed. Travel up to 50% required. Qualifications: MD, PharmD, or PhD in Life Sciences. 3+ years of experience in Medical Affairs. Proven ability to cultivate external relationships with key stakeholders. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Strong knowledge in renal or immunologic diseases preferred. Creative and innovative thinker with excellent planning and organizational capabilities. A collaborative team player thriving in dynamic environments. Must reside in the assigned territory. Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package, with a base pay starting at $209,000, plus performance incentives and equity options.
