The The Field Service Engineer Test Director will provide installation, test, repair, and sustainment support for Vertical Launching Systems (VLS) and other electronic systems. While primary responsibilities will center on VLS Systems, opportunities to support additional equipment and systems may arise. The position demands extensive travel (CONUS and OCONUS, >60%) to support U.S. Navy ships, foreign military, and direct commercial sales programs. This role requires a highly experienced and professional Test Director, performing roles and responsibilities to include the following. • Serve as Test Director overseeing installations, live fire exercises, and VLS system support. • Perform system modifications, upgrades, and repairs. • Conduct assembly, integration, and testing of electronic systems. • Provide technical direction to team members and customer representatives. • Coordinate daily activities with the Virginia Beach VLS Manager, team leads, and program stakeholders. • Support both U.S. and international customers in a dynamic operational environment.
