Were currently seeking a dynamic Director to lead our After School Program for the 2025 2026 school year at Manchester Elementary School in Manchester Center, VT. As the Director, youll be the driving force behind the daily operations of the Healthy Kids Program Site.

JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt SCHEDULE: 2:45 PM 5:30 PM PAY: $18.00 $20.00 per hour

YOUR ROLE INCLUDES: Ensuring Compliance: Oversee that staff and the program follow all applicable state regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and host school expectations.

Leading the Fun: Facilitate engaging, hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum covering fitness, STEAM, academics, art, and more. Plus, help kids stay on track with their homework youre their go-to for that too!

Managing Operations: Handle key administrative tasks like maintaining accurate attendance, overseeing student registration, and managing staffing needs to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Family Communication: Use the Playground App to keep parents and guardians updated and engaged with regular communication.

Team Collaboration: Stay in regular communication with your supervisor to report on daily happenings and address concerns quickly. Strong teamwork ensures we maintain quality care, a supportive workplace, and a proactive approach to challenges.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:<BR>To qualify for the Director position, applicants must:

Be at least 18 years old, hold a BA, BS, or Associate degree, and have one of the following:

A minimum of 10 months direct experience working with school-age children

Vermont On-the-Job Training Certificate

Vermont Afterschool Professional Credential

Vermont Program Director Credential

Vermont Teacher Licensure

Masters Degree in a youth-related field

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Medically cleared to perform all job duties and free of communicable diseases, including TB.

Friendly, energetic, and approachable with strong communication skills. Youre great with kids, respectful with parents, and a dependable team player.

Physically capable of bending, stretching, lifting up to 50 lbs., and staying active throughout your shift.
