The ideal candidate will oversee overall medical care accountability, provide direct primary care, and manage comprehensive assessments in diverse settings, including hospitals and nursing homes. This role involves designing and executing care protocols, education initiatives, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is essential to formulate and achieve care plan goals, as well as recruitment, training, and management of medical staff. Applicants should possess a Doctorate in medicine or osteopathy, alongside a minimum of 5 years of primary care experience focused on the senior population, and 3-5 years of experience in staff, budget, and clinical management. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in evidence-based practices, cultural competencies, and a history of leading quality improvement efforts. The Executive Medical Director will also be responsible for the strategic and operational management of pharmacy services and must exhibit proficiency in clinical tasks while upholding confidentiality, effective prioritization, and communication skills.
