We are looking for a forward-thinking Executive Medical Director to lead the launch and growth of our Emergency Care hospital in the Southern California area. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, entrepreneurial veterinarian who is passionate about shaping medical culture, building strong teams, and driving clinical excellence. What Youll Do Lead medical strategy and set the standard of care across our hospitals Develop and implement hospital-specific SOPs to ensure consistency and quality Partner with leadership to manage budgets and achieve growth targets Build and mentor high-performing DVM teams with a focus on development and resilience Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and client-centered care Engage with clients and staff to create a warm, welcoming, and professional environment Participate in leadership training and Executive Medical Director forums What Were Looking For DVM with a valid California license or the ability to obtain a CA license 7+ years of veterinary practice experience required 3+ years of Surgical experience required Proven success in mentoring and developing veterinarians Comfort and expertise in managing emergency care cases 2+ years of P&L responsibility preferred What We Offer Competitive base salary up to $250K , commensurate with experience Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match State license reimbursement Relocation Assistance Equity partnership opportunities Join us in shaping the future of veterinary medicine in California.
