Stoke is developing antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) to selectively restore naturally occurring protein levels. Stoke’s first medicine in development, zorevunersen, has demonstrated the potential for disease modification in patients with Dravet syndrome and is currently being evaluated in a Phase 3 study. Stoke entered into a strategic collaboration with Biogen in 2025 to develop and commercialize zorevunersen for Dravet syndrome. Under the collaboration, Stoke retains exclusive rights for zorevunersen in the United States, Canada, and Mexico; Biogen receives exclusive rest of world commercialization rights Stoke’s initial focus for its TANGO platform is on diseases of the central nervous system and the eye that are caused by a loss of ~50% of normal protein levels (haploinsufficiency). Stoke has identified STK-002 as a clinical candidate for the potential treatment of autosomal dominant optic atrophy (ADOA), the most common inherited optic nerve disorder. The company is also pursuing a potential new medicine for Syngap1, a severe and rare neurodevelopmental disorder, in collaboration with Acadia Pharmaceuticals. Proof of concept has been demonstrated in other organs, tissues, and systems, supporting broad potential for the Company’s proprietary approach. Key Responsibilities: Executive Director/VP, Commercial Operations works cross-functionally to identify and implement best practices, methodologies and processes to achieve commercial and operational excellence. This role will be responsible for the operational build, development and maintenance of commercial systems, forecasting, market research, field data support, policies and governance documents to support both the launch and commercialization of Stoke’s products. This will include planning for weekly performance reports and insights at launch. The role will also be responsible for field force incentive compensation, working closely with field leadership in Sales and Market Access. Additionally, in partnership with IT, they will identify, develop and deploy enterprise functions and platform technology solutions to maximize operational effectiveness, and work closely with third party vendors such as CRM providers and data aggregators. Work closely within Commercial and Finance to build, analyze and communicate Commercial program budgets to ensure accurate forecasting reporting. Responsible for developing and reporting daily/weekly revenue process with Finance at launch. Collaborate with Finance and Manufacturing to develop and support the monthly/quarterly revenue forecasting process. Collaborate with Commercial stakeholders to coordinate and synergize all market research needs and efforts. Work with cross-functional team members to identify and prioritize actionable, high-impact insights across a variety of core business areas including Sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Finance, Market Access, Patient Services and IT. Research, design, implement, and validate cutting-edge dashboards to analyze diverse sources of data to achieve targeted outcomes. Institute processes for data and reporting governance of ad-hoc field-based inquiries from the Executive Leadership Team and other Commercial functions. Design, develop, implement and lead the company's data warehouse with input from Commercial, IT, Quality and Finance. Strategic and tactical planning for field teams including management of vehicle allowance, incentive compensation design and administration, data management, reporting, and CRM management. Lead data inquiry and data stewardship efforts in support of field-based teams Collaborate with IT to develop Stoke’s enterprise data strategy Any and all other responsibilities as requested Required Skills & Experience: A minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Commercial Operations, Business Intelligence, Data Management or Analytics. Good verbal and written communication with solid organizational, time management, and project management skills. Strong personal leadership skills to drive performance and support corporate objectives. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong analytical and communication skills. Well organized and detail oriented. Creativity and resilience in problem solving. Relentless hands-on drive to implement and accomplish performance goals. Effective management of vendor partners to ensure project scope is achieved within defined budget. Ability to independently research, design, and implement platform technology solutions. Location(s): Stoke is located in Bedford, MA. This position is a hybrid with an office setting based in Bedford, MA location. Travel: This position will require approximately 5% travel.
