About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of supporting men's mental health through a unique combination of outdoor activities and therapeutic engagement. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, mission-driven leader with a proven track record in nonprofit management, including a minimum of 7 years' experience, and at least 3 years in an Executive Director or equivalent role. The role is pivotal in scaling the organization's impact, with a focus on revenue generation, strategic leadership, and organizational management. The Executive Director will be responsible for leading all fundraising efforts to exceed $1M in annual revenue, partnering with the Board to develop and execute a multi-year strategic plan, and ensuring the clinical integrity of the programs as the organization expands. A genuine commitment to men's mental health and wellness, as well as a personal and professional understanding of the challenges men face in seeking support, is essential.

Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and a strong network within the nonprofit, philanthropic, and business communities. Experience in mental health, healthcare, or wellness sectors is preferred, as is a personal connection to outdoor recreation. The role requires a leader who can champion the organization's values, break down stigma, and create an inclusive space for men to pursue growth. Key qualifications include a demonstrated ability to raise significant funds, experience in national program expansion, and a commitment to fostering a data-driven culture with a focus on outcomes. The Executive Director will also be responsible for organizational management, including budget oversight, and must be adept at working with a Board of Directors and managing a team.
