About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and implementing the strategic direction, as well as overseeing all administrative, financial, and operational functions. This includes working with the Board of Directors to formulate and modify policies, managing the annual budget, and ensuring the Society's strategic plan is executed effectively. The Executive Director will also be a key advocate for professional issues, represent the Society at various meetings, and maintain relationships with members, staff, and external stakeholders. Essential duties encompass financial leadership, member and organizational success, management and administration, staff and volunteer leadership, and communication and marketing.
Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should be proven leaders with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior-level role, preferably within an association or healthcare environment. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with an advanced degree being desirable. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, exceptional communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to build and strengthen partnerships. Experience with continuing medical education and knowledge of ACCME rules is also a plus. The role demands a strategic thinker with a passion for healthcare, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to manage change with a transparent and creative approach.
