About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Indiana Division. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for advancing the mission through strategic operations, organizational leadership, fundraising, and community engagement. This role is pivotal, especially at this time, as the division is on the verge of a significant transition into a new, purpose-built facility. The Executive Director will guide the team through this transformational moment, shaping operations, culture, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' of relevant leadership experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and a proven track record in fundraising, donor stewardship, and community engagement. Strong organizational, financial, and operational leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include overseeing daily operations, maintaining compliance with nonprofit standards, and leading the division through the transition into the new facility. The role also involves leading fundraising efforts, cultivating donor relationships, and representing the organization in the community. The Executive Director will be expected to model the company's core values, which include serving those in need, empowering volunteers, and embracing the community with integrity and teamwork. While not mandatory, familiarity with food security, logistics, warehouse operations, or disaster relief environments is preferred, as is experience in volunteer-driven organizations and knowledge of the local nonprofit and philanthropic landscape. The position requires a hands-on, servant leader who is committed to the mission of alleviating hunger and providing disaster relief with excellence.
