About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for Venue and Facility Management. The successful candidate will be a senior professional in the industry, responsible for the oversight, management, and operation of multiple venues. This role demands a leader who is a servant to their team, a community builder, a strong communicator, and a business leader capable of making sound operating and financial decisions in a competitive market. The Executive Director will be tasked with shaping the culture and direction of the team and facilities, maximizing event and revenue opportunities, and ensuring the venues are operated in compliance with all regulations.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, providing cohesive leadership to all departments, and aggressively promoting the use of the facilities. The role also involves fiscal oversight, budget development, and personnel management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, at least 8 years' of experience in a similar management role, and advanced knowledge of public assembly facility operations. They should be adept at problem-solving, have excellent teamwork skills, and be able to work effectively under pressure. Professional certifications such as CFE or CMP are preferred.
