About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director for its Policy and Procedures Unit. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the Strategic Initiatives Unit, which is dedicated to overseeing and managing critical programs and initiatives that drive institutional reform and improve operational systems. This role is pivotal in the Department's mission to provide a safe and secure environment for all, including the people in its custody. The Executive Director will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including policy management, development, and implementation, as well as leading a team of professionals in this area. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential to ensure that policies align with regulatory standards and support the Department's goals.

Applicants for the Executive Director position should ideally hold a Master's degree in a relevant field and have a background that includes managerial experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven track record in project management. The role requires the ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and cultivate partnerships with diverse stakeholders. The Executive Director will also be expected to lead policy working groups, deliver recommendations that align with agency priorities, and communicate innovative ideas to support the successful implementation of projects and policies. A deep understanding of current criminal justice reform initiatives and the ability to recognize and mitigate risks associated with institutional change are also key qualifications for this leadership role.
