About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of University Advancement - Athletics to lead the strategic management of a donor portfolio and the solicitation of leadership gifts for the athletic program. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting or exceeding established fundraising metrics, building and implementing a comprehensive athletics campaign, and working closely with university advancement resources to engage top athletic donors. This role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least 5 years of successful fundraising experience, particularly in the higher education or non-profit sector. The Executive Director will also be tasked with managing a team, setting and achieving fundraising goals, and ensuring compliance with relevant NCAA and conference regulations.

Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should possess excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and practically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role involves managing a large donor portfolio, providing stewardship, and leading philanthropic efforts for the athletic program. A background in collegiate athletics, non-profit fundraising, or a higher education environment is preferred, along with a proven track record of successful gift closure at the $50,000 to $250,000 level. The ideal candidate will have a strong appreciation for the role of a Catholic liberal arts and sciences education and be adept at fostering a culture of successful fundraising within the institution.
