About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its hospice operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the hospice, including business and clinical operations, business development, financial control, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. This role requires a leader with a strong background in hospice program management, particularly in the areas of growth strategy and clinical operations. The Executive Director will also be tasked with overseeing budgetary responsibilities, so experience in budget development, monitoring, and financial management is essential.
Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a minimum of 2-3 years' hospice program leadership experience and a background as an Executive Director, Administrator, or Director of Clinical Operations. A Bachelor's degree in nursing, health care, or business administration is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations and sales leadership, as well as a deep understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Department of Aging and Disability Services regulations. Strong leadership, managerial, and communication skills are a must, along with the ability to build and maintain relationships both within the company and in the communities served. Experience in process analysis, improvement planning, and change management in a fast-paced environment is also required.
