About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Government Relations to lead the strategic advancement of its interests across local, state, and federal levels. The successful candidate will be the chief architect of the company's government relations strategy, responsible for forging influential partnerships, shaping public policy, and elevating the company's voice on critical issues. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have significant experience in government relations, public policy, or legislative affairs, preferably within a complex sector such as higher education or healthcare. A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree in a related field. The role demands exceptional communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative leadership style, a strong commitment to ethics and integrity, and the ability to foster bipartisan relationships and coalitions.
