About the Role
The organization is looking for an Executive Director of Development to lead the creation and execution of a forward-thinking fundraising strategy. This vital role is essential in driving the organization's mission to promote policies that enhance eligibility for record clearance, positively impacting countless individuals in the U.S. affected by past arrest or conviction records.
The Executive Director will focus on helping individuals gain access to employment, education, professional licenses, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in fundraising, demonstrating success in developing robust strategies to support our initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising plan.
Collaborating closely with the CEO to ensure the financial sustainability of our mission.
Establishing and nurturing relationships with various stakeholders, including donors, partners, and community members.
Understanding the philanthropic landscape and excelling in grant writing and donor stewardship.
The successful candidate will be a passionate advocate for our mission, with exceptional communication skills to articulate the impact of our work. A Bachelor’s degree is required, while a Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
