About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Development to lead and manage all campus development functions, with a strong focus on fundraising, alumni and donor relations, and community engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising plans and strategies to increase philanthropic support, soliciting various entities for gifts, and ensuring proper stewardship of donations. This role requires a leader who can align with the company's core values, work closely with internal and external partners, and contribute to the diverse community and student body. The Executive Director will also be involved in development planning, administration, and will supervise a team to maintain effective database information and records.
Candidates for the Executive Director of Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least 5 years' of progressive development or similar experience, preferably in higher education or with a not-for-profit organization. A CFRE or equivalent professional credential is also preferred. The role demands a results-oriented individual with excellent planning, supervisory, and evaluation skills, who is a self-starter, team player, and has a proven track record in achieving goals. High ethical standards, the ability to exercise confidentiality, and a willingness to travel are essential.
