Overview The Executive Director of Campus Enrollment provides strategic leadership and oversight of undergraduate campus-based enrollment at Spring Arbor University . Rooted in the university’s Christ-centered mission, this role is responsible for developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies that drive enrollment growth, foster a culture of hospitality and excellence, and ensure that each prospective student encounters a clear and compelling invitation to be rooted in Christ and thrive in the Spring Arbor community.
Responsibilities
Provide vision and leadership for undergraduate campus-based enrollment strategy, aligning efforts with institutional goals and the university’s commitment to Christ-centered education.
Lead, mentor, and support a dynamic team of admissions professionals, cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, spiritual growth, fun, and student-first service.
Design and implement data-informed strategies to attract, engage, and enroll students who will thrive academically, spiritually, and socially at Spring Arbor University.
Foster collaboration across departments—especially Financial Aid, Athletics, Student Development, Academics, and Marketing—to ensure a seamless, personalized, and faith-informed experience for prospective students and their families.
Monitor enrollment trends, funnel performance, and market data to make strategic decisions and adjust tactics in real time.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including high schools, churches, homeschool organizations, and alumni to expand SAU’s visibility and reach.
Represent the university at campus events, recruitment functions, and off-site engagements with professionalism, warmth, and a clear articulation of SAU’s distinctives.
Oversee the campus enrollment budget and steward resources effectively in support of strategic priorities.
Champion Spring Arbor’s brand promise and spiritual identity in all aspects of the recruitment process, ensuring that Christ is at the center of every prospective student’s journey.
Model a Christ-centered approach to leadership and student recruitment, equipping your team to integrate faith into all aspects of their work and relationships.
Reporting Serves as a senior member of the enrollment team and reports directly to the Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing.
Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises the Director of Admissions and the Manager of Enrollment Operations. Oversees cross-functional teams to ensure enrollment goals are met collaboratively and effectively.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
Minimum of 5-6 years of progressive leadership experience in admissions, enrollment, or a related field.
Proven ability to develop and execute enrollment strategies, lead teams, and meet or exceed ambitious goals.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a gift for relationship-building and team development.
Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and data analytics to inform strategy and goal setting.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to lead change, manage complexity, and inspire others.
Deep understanding of and passion for the transformative role of Christ-centered higher education.
