The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership and management of the benefits team, including overseeing the sales, operations, risk management, and administration of health and retirement plans. This role also involves business development, collaboration with third-party consultants, and representation on related boards. The Executive Director will be expected to have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least 10 years of experience in benefits management or a related area, and nonprofit experience is a plus. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director of Benefits at the company include staff supervision, product management, investment oversight, and reporting to the Benefit Board. The role requires a strategic approach to ensure competitive pricing and effective marketing strategies for self-funded health plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits management, with a proven track record in a leadership role, and the ability to prepare and manage annual budgets, as well as coordinate audits.
