About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Advancement to play a pivotal role in the institution's growth and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive fundraising plan to attract philanthropic support. This includes the development of fundraising strategies, donor stewardship, prospect research, and management. The role demands a highly experienced professional with a strategic and entrepreneurial approach to donor relations, stewardship, and development. The Executive Director will also be involved in the lives of the institution, its programs, and its constituents, and will be a key member of the community.

The ideal candidate for the Executive Director of Advancement position at the company will be a strategic thinker, innovative leader, and mission-oriented individual with a proven track record in fundraising. A minimum of 7 years' experience in the nonprofit sector, with at least 5 years in a high-performing fundraising role, is preferred. The candidate should have a strong background in raising funds from diverse sources, including annual appeals, major donors, and grants. Experience in higher education advancement and a history of successful collaboration with a Board of Trustees are also important. The role requires a persuasive and articulate communicator, highly organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to the Christian principles and teachings that align with the company's mission is strongly preferred.
