About the Role
The Company is in search of a Quantitative Analytics Director / Model Risk Officer to oversee models in the financial crimes, fair lending, and compliance risk areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end model risk management process, including model validation, performance monitoring, and governance. This role requires the management of a team of experienced model risk professionals and the formulation of structures and processes to enhance model risk management functions. The candidate will also be expected to develop and maintain model risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures, and to advocate for industry best practices in model development and validation. Collaboration with various stakeholders, including model development teams, model users, and regulatory bodies, is a key aspect of the position.
Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' of quantitative analytical experience, with at least 4 years' in a management or leadership capacity. A Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Ph.D. in a related field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial crimes, fair lending, and compliance models, as well as in AI and ML methodologies. In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in model validation and governance is essential.
