The Cybersecurity organization is responsible for protecting DTCC’s information assets, infrastructure, and operations from internal and external threats. The team ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems through proactive risk management, threat intelligence, and cutting-edge security technologies.

The Impact you will have in this role :
We are seeking a strategic, highly organized, and results-driven Executive Director, Chief of Staff – Cybersecurity to support the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Cybersecurity Leadership Team. This individual will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, aligning critical initiatives, and ensuring the smooth execution of key priorities across the Cybersecurity organization. The Chief of Staff will serve as a trusted advisor to the CISO, lead cross-functional initiatives, and act as a central point of coordination for internal and external collaborators.
Your Primary Responsibilities :
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT business strategies that align with the company's overall objectives. Find opportunities for improvement and innovation within the IT department.
Partner with senior management, including Executive Committee and the Board, to drive impactful results and navigate transformative opportunities.
Lead the preparation of board materials in partnership with Senior Management and proactively source content as the first line of validation for the CISO organization.
Ensure effective and aligned communication of CISO goals, priorities and material decisions to senior business leadership and internal teams as applicable.
Ensure alignment on critical messaging for external/client messaging and conferences in support of senior management and the Board.
Risk Management: Mitigate risks by following established procedures, supervising controls, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Project Management: Supervise IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Budget Management: Own the IT budget, including forecasting, allocation, and monitoring of expenditures. Ensure efficient use of resources.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve IT processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and standards across the IT department.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to integrate IT solutions that support business objectives. Foster positive relationships with customers and management.
Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT team. Develop and mentor staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 15 years of related experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
