About the Role
The Company is seeking a Hospice Executive Director to lead and oversee all aspects of hospice operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for business and clinical operations, business development, financial control, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. This role requires a minimum of 2-3 years' hospice program leadership experience and a background as an Executive Director, Administrator, or Director of Clinical Operations. Strong skills in operations, growth strategy, and clinical operations are essential, as is experience with budgetary responsibilities and a broad knowledge of federal and state regulations.
Applicants for the Hospice Executive Director position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in nursing, health care, or business administration, with a preference for this educational background. A minimum of 2 years' in health care management, particularly in home health, hospice, or related programs, is also required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations and/or sales leadership, as well as the ability to develop and maintain relationships in the community and within the organization. Outstanding leadership, managerial, and communication skills are a must, along with the ability to problem-solve, make decisions, and assertively manage in a fast-paced environment. Experience in process analysis, improvement planning, and change management is also highly valued.
