About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Hospice Operations to lead and manage its multi-site hospice services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall business and clinical operations, including business development, financial control, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. This role demands a hands-on leader with a proven track record in the hospice or home health industry, particularly in the areas of operations, growth strategy, and oversight of clinical leadership. The Executive Director will have a significant impact on the company's success, with a focus on census growth and maintaining a high standard of care.
Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a minimum of 5 years' recent experience in hospice operations management, with a preference for those with a background in multi-site operations. The role requires a candidate with strong leadership, managerial, and communication skills, as well as the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, with graduate coursework being a plus. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of federal and state regulations, and a proven ability to manage budgetary responsibilities, including development and monitoring. The Executive Director will be at the helm of a large team, with multiple direct and indirect reports, and will be expected to drive the company's mission and values in all aspects of the role.
