About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Hospice Operations to lead and manage its multi-site hospice business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the hospice operations, including business and clinical operations, business development, financial control, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. This role demands a hands-on leader with a strong background in the hospice or home health industry, particularly in operations management, growth strategy, and oversight of clinical leadership. The Executive Director will also be tasked with managing a large team, both directly and indirectly, and driving census growth.
Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a minimum of 5 years' recent experience in hospice operations management, with a preference for those with a background in multi-site operations. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in executive leadership, managerial skills, and a deep understanding of federal and state healthcare regulations. Strong experience in budget development, monitoring, and financial management is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with graduate coursework being a plus, and demonstrate outstanding problem-solving, decision-making, and assertiveness skills. The Executive Director will be expected to be a strategic thinker, with the ability to drive the business forward and ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
