About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Global Value and Access. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of experts in developing and executing global market access and pricing strategies that highlight the value of the company's innovative therapies. This role requires a deep understanding of U.S. and international healthcare systems, payer requirements, and market dynamics, with a preference for experience in rare diseases. The Executive Director will be accountable for the creation and governance of key deliverables, ensuring strategic market access input for global clinical development, and maintaining strong business relationships with key functions. They will also be expected to monitor global market access trends, support the execution of market access goals, and lead the development of pricing estimates and access plans for pipeline assets.
Candidates for this position should have a Ph.D., Pharm D, M.D., M.Sc. in a relevant field, and at least 15 years of experience in a similar organization, including international exposure. A proven track record in developing innovative access and pricing strategies, as well as experience in HTA markets, is essential. The role demands a leader with expertise in strategic pricing, contracting, and negotiation, and a strong background in shaping the policy environment to support new funding streams. The ideal candidate will have a history of managing high-performing teams, providing thought leadership, and influencing decisions across the organization. Broader commercial experience beyond value and access is a plus, and the ability to lead and influence cross-functionally is a key requirement.
