About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for US Field Medical Endocrinology. This high-impact role is pivotal in leading, managing, and ensuring the accountability of a growing US Field Medical Team within the GI/Hep specialty. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational planning of the field medical team, including the direct management of Field Medical Directors and specialized Medical Science Liaisons and Clinical Practice Liaisons. Key responsibilities include driving coaching strategy, field readiness, and medical impact, as well as building and maintaining essential capabilities within the team. The role also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, particularly in the areas of sales, marketing, market access, and clinical operations.

Applicants must have a clinical or scientific degree, a minimum of 10 years in medical affairs leadership, and at least 2 years of experience in endocrinology, hepatology, and/or GI. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, a strong understanding of industry regulations, and the ability to lead a team in a constantly changing environment. Strategic planning, project management, and a passion for team development and cross-functional collaboration are essential. The role requires a candidate with a strategic mindset, deep field medical expertise, and a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in all external engagements with healthcare professionals.
