FOX Entertainment Global (FEG) is FOX Entertainment’s centralized content sales division, providing the worldwide multi-platform marketplace with exclusive access to its diverse, rapidly expanding production pipeline and library of owned original programming and co-production partnerships. A central component of FOX Entertainment’s long-term growth strategy is to fortify its globally recognized, world-class brand and owned distribution platforms spanning broadcast and streaming with FOX Entertainment Global’s singular focus on broadly distributing the company’s full portfolio of owned intellectual property across all genres of scripted, unscripted, and animated programming, including both film and television titles.
We are seeking an Executive Director, Deal and Rights Management, to support FEG. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, managing and handling the deal management process for all of FEG’s agreements, and overseeing and maintaining the rights “in” and rights “out” management in connection with the distribution and licensing for worldwide distribution.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the newly formed Deal and Rights Management team, including but not limited to overseeing deal management, and both rights “in” and rights “out” activities in collaboration with and under the supervision of the SVP, Business & Legal Affairs
Manage series commitment information and related tracking
Manage requirements specified in third-party license agreements and output deals
Lead all deal management activities from contract review and analysis to data entry across all agreement types (., license, format, acquisition)
Ensure the integrity of all metadata, financial terms, and rights information in the system to support downstream teams
Record and maintain accurate distribution rights from all content providers in the rights management system
Review and analyze distribution license agreements and deal terms in Salesforce and Rightsline to ensure data accuracy across all systems
Oversee, track, and manage all contractual options to ensure timely execution
Track and manage music options for both international and domestic exploitation
Develop and distribute critical reports for key stakeholders
Approve deal entries in company systems
Respond to all senior management inquiries
Liaise with the Tech team on Salesforce and Rightsline upgrades and enhancements
Interface with executives at all levels in all departments, including Management, Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations
Handle any and all projects or other responsibilities that may be requested from time to time
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
12+ years of experience in deal and rights management, preferably within a television distribution company or department
Comprehensive knowledge of deal terms, including distribution rights across all media platforms, including but not limited to AVOD, SVOD, Pay TV, EST, TVOD, PPV, Free TV, basic cable, and FAST channels
Proven ability to interpret and understand deal terms in license, format, and acquisition agreements
Demonstrated expertise in analyzing and summarizing various agreements, including license, format, distribution, and acquisition contracts
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally
Strong understanding of workflows and operational processes
Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and sound judgment
Interest in, and prior experience, collaborating with technology teams on system development and process improvement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to work as a team player
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $128,000.00-185,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
