About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Credit Risk team, with a focus on managing exposure to alternative asset managers, private equity sponsors, and real estate fund managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading credit relationships, driving strategic initiatives, and overseeing the credit risk associated with a significant segment of the portfolio. This role demands a professional with a strong background in credit and market risk, or structuring and origination, and a solid understanding of financial products and market dynamics. The Executive Director will be expected to provide credit expertise in structuring corporate financings, supervise legal negotiations, and lead credit due diligence for various transaction types.

Applicants must have a minimum of 9 years' of experience in financial services, with a preference for those with a background in asset management, financial technology, or FIG industries. The role requires a candidate with a strong interest in client interaction, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to perform well under pressure. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience in investment banking or similar fields, a demonstrated ability to lead the development of new risk rating methodologies, and a track record of managing client portfolios and exposure. The Executive Director will be expected to mentor and guide junior resources, manage workloads and deadlines, and assist with recruiting and training junior team members.
