About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for the McGraw Center for Educational Leadership. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic vision and hands-on leadership of the center, which is dedicated to advancing leadership development across various educational sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge programs that enhance leadership capacity, with a focus on preK-12 education, higher education, corporate and lifelong learning, and nonprofit sectors. Key responsibilities include leadership and strategy development, program design and oversight, stakeholder engagement, resource development, and thought leadership. The Executive Director will also be instrumental in securing funding and managing the center's budget to ensure its long-term sustainability and growth.
Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a Master's degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., or equivalent preferred) in a relevant field, with 5-7 years' leadership experience in educational, nonprofit, or corporate settings. The role requires a strong track record in program development, excellent relationship-building skills, and a history of success in securing substantial funding. The ideal candidate will be a strategic visionary with a hands-on approach, capable of fostering a culture of innovation and research in educational leadership practices. They must be adept at working with a wide range of stakeholders and be prepared to serve as thought leaders, representing the center at various forums. The Executive Director will also be expected to advocate for evidence-based policies and practices that promote equitable leadership in education.
