Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide.As theExecutive Assistant, the successful candidate will provide executive-level administrative and organizational support to the Global Director of Fundraising as delegated, through management of the Global Director of Fundraising's diary, communications, travel and accommodation bookings and effective organization and follow-up of Global Director of Fundraising and Board-level meetings etc., in order to ensure Global Director of Fundraising's workload and activities are managed effectively, thus contributing on a wider scale to the success and smooth operational running of the organization.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Act as a key member of the Fundraising Department, leaning into collaboration, positivity and support of overall team.Complete and submit the GLOBAL DIRECTOR OF FUNDRAISING's expenses onto AMS in a timely manner and within the agreed financial guidelinesDevelop an understanding of the Global Director's client-facing work, internal projects and their respective needs to ensure that appropriate meetings are scheduled, and materials are prepared in a timely manner.Develop and sustain a level of professionalism, among staff and clients, consistent with HA's mission and values.Handle confidential information with discretion.Manage the complex calendar of the Global Director, setting up meetings, communicating with other leaders and employees at HA, and anticipating and resolving any scheduling conflicts. Provide support for group meetings aligned with strategic Fundraising initiatives and performance management.Organize all travel, accommodation, and logistical arrangements for national and international travel, including management of itineraries and all relevant information, to ensure the smooth running of all trips.Provide executive-level meeting support; organize documents for Board of Director and Board of Trustee meetings.Performs other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU WILL NEEDEDUCATION/EXPERTISE: High School Diploma or equivalent requiredJOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/ETC: Minimum 2 years of experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Knowledge of AMS system, and expense reportingProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.SALARY RANGE - $47k - $64,170kThe exact salary varies within range based on years of relevant experience and education.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Visual acuity to use a keyboard and view a computer terminal. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, and hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp. May require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand and walk. Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or move light to medium weight up to twelve (12) pounds and/or exert up to twelve (12) pounds of force.
