Job Description
General Overview:
The Events Director is responsible for developing and executing a world-class global events strategy that strengthens inCruises international brand presence, boosts Partner engagement, and supports global sales growth in compliance with all regulatory frameworks, including U.S. Trade or Business (USToB) limitations.
This leadership role will oversee the execution of high-energy eventssuch as The Global Convention, leadership retreats, regional trainings, product launches, and incentive tripswith a specific focus on non-U.S.-based events. All Partner-facing activity must occur outside the mainland United States,in compliance and alignment with company guidelines.
Essential Functions:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and lead a comprehensive global events roadmap that supports Partner recognition, training, brand expansion, and field momentum internationally.
- Collaborate with the CMO, CEO, and non-U.S.-based field leaders to align event strategy with global priorities.
- Define KPIs to measure attendance, satisfaction, retention, ROI, and impact on Partner growth.
- Ensure all events and promotions remain compliant with inGroups USToB policy.
Event Execution
- Oversee planning and execution of:
- The Global Convention
- Leadership & Rank Advancement Retreats
- Recognition and Incentive Cruises
Product Launches
- Large Corporate Virtual Events and Webinars
- Manage full logistics scope: venue sourcing, vendor negotiation, AV/staging, translation, registration, swag, and on-site coordination.
- Ensure international events adhere to local regulatory and tax guidelines.
Field & Leader Engagement and Support
- Engage and collaborate with corporate and field leaders to shape regional and global event agendas.
- Design recognition experiences that spotlight field leadership achievements in line with inCruises core values.
- Align with compliance and legal to ensure all content remains educational, non-soliciting, and non-promotional in the U.S.
- Consult with Field Leaders to improve their events from a cost-savings, realization and production standpoint.
Team & Vendor Management
- Lead the international events team; select and manage, external vendors, production crews, and event contractors.
- Work closely with marketing, comms, support, and field operations to maintain quality and brand consistency.
- Evaluate and manage third-party event platforms and in-market production resources.
- Budgeting & ROI
- Lead budgeting and forecasting for all major event projects, ensuring financial discipline and cost-efficiency.
- Track post-event metrics and field engagement outcomes.
- Partner with sponsorship and corporate relations to offset costs through global event partners.

Competencies:
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills.
- Customer service focus with ability to handle high-pressure, live-event situations.
- Effective communication, written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and remain adaptable.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability for data accuracy.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of event management platforms such as Eventbrite, Zoom Events, Salesforce, and Monday.com.
- Proven success in managing events of 5-10,000+ participants, ideally across multiple languages and cultures.
- Expertise in full-cycle logistics for conventions, incentive trips, recognition programs, and hybrid experiences.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to influence stakeholders across time zones.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.
- Bilingual or multilingual experience is strongly preferred (English is required; Spanish or Russian is a plus).
- 7+ years of global event leadership experience, with at least 3 years in network marketing or direct selling.
