The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 6 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in the legal complexities of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and executive compensation matters. Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive legal advice and support on ERISA compliance, retirement plans, health and welfare benefits, and executive compensation arrangements. - Draft, review, and negotiate plan documents, agreements, and disclosures related to employee benefits and executive compensation. - Collaborate with clients to design and implement effective compensation strategies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational goals. - Conduct due diligence and provide guidance on benefits and compensation issues in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. - Stay abreast of legislative and regulatory developments affecting employee benefits and executive compensation. Qualifications: - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. - Membership in good standing with the California State Bar. - 3 to 6 years of experience in ERISA and executive compensation matters, preferably within a law firm or corporate legal department. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
