We’re currently seeking an Equipment Sourcing Director for Chain Link Foodservice Systems and Convenience Stores business in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metro Area—and this is far more than a traditional purchasing role.
This position is at the forefront of transformation: not only executing purchasing initiatives, but actively shaping organizational development and driving impactful change across multiple categories. Reporting directly to the President/CEO Franke Foodservice Systems.
Your tasks
-Strategic Inventory Management: Develop and execute inventory plans to achieve optimal fill rates with minimal inventory investment.
-Vendor Relations & Negotiation: Maximize vendor rebate programs and negotiate trade terms to strengthen our competitive edge.
-Operational Support: Provide purchasing support across distribution facilities and lead major rollouts to ensure timely execution.
-Product Development Collaboration: Assist in vendor selection and qualification for new product initiatives.
-Cross-Functional Communication: Foster effective communication across departments to align purchasing strategies with company goals.
-Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze daily reports and purchasing data to inform strategic decisions.
-Customer-Centric Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
-Policy Implementation: Establish and enforce purchasing standards, policies, and procedures aligned with corporate objectives.
-Industry Representation: Represent the company at trade shows, conventions, and client meetings.
-Budget Oversight: Monitor departmental expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary goals.
-Team Leadership: Partner with HR to manage all aspects of team development including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
Requirements
-Education: Bachelor’s or Master`s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (experience may substitute for education).
-Experience: Minimum of 10 years in purchasing management within the foodservice equipment industry or a related dealer environment.
-Skills: Proven negotiation skills, strategic thinking, leadership, and a strong understanding of inventory and vendor management.
